Who we are

Crestview Stays Pty Ltd (ABN 74 812 940 557), trading from 39 Hercules St, Hamilton QLD 4007, Australia. We're the data controller for everything collected through crestviewstays.life, our phone lines and our email.

What we collect

• Contact details — name, email, phone — when you enquire or book
• Booking details — dates, party size, room and package preferences
• Dietary, accessibility and occasion notes you volunteer
• Basic site analytics — pages viewed, rough location, device type
• Age confirmation for any service that includes casino components (18+)

We deliberately don't collect payment card numbers — deposits are paid through the property's own secure payment links.

What we do with it

Three things, and only three: build and manage your booking, answer your questions, and send you the occasional rate note if you've asked for it. We don't sell data, rent lists, or run ad retargeting.

Who sees it

Our booking partners — principally The Star Gold Coast and named suppliers (transfers, dining venues) — receive only what the booking needs: names, dates, requirements. Analytics run through a privacy-respecting tool with IP anonymisation. That's the whole list.

Retention

Enquiry details are purged 12 months after last contact. Completed booking records sit for 7 years — that's Australian tax law, not hoarding.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold, ask us to fix it, ask us to delete it — email crestviewstays@gmail.com and a human handles it within 30 days. Australian Privacy Principles apply to everything we do; if you're in the EU or UK, GDPR rights apply on top — see our Legal & GDPR page for the specifics.

Complaints

Talk to us first — we fix things fast. If you're still unhappy, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) handles privacy complaints.
